In this section of Chapter 1, the
researcher presents the benefits that specific stakeholders, agencies/organizations
and sectors of society can gain from the results of the study. The section
begins with the clause, “This study is hoped to be beneficial to the
following:”. The format for each beneficiary-benefit is as follows:
Name of the beneficiary. The results of the study will help this
beneficiary by providing information of how to improve its programs and
services for its clients. Each beneficiary is allotted a paragraph.
The sequence of the beneficiaries presented
in the significance of the study must follow a logical sequence, preferably
starting with the stakeholder/agency/sector that is most directly benefitted by
the study, up to the beneficiary with the least benefits. Always include future researchers as one of the
beneficiaries, and place on the last of the list.
